I received an email from a young woman who is opening a shop which will feature local artists. She asked if I would like to sell my cards there, so I'm waiting for more information from her. I decided to take a little drive to see her shop and brought my cards with, just in case. Well, it turns out that they are still fixing up the new shop and it was closed.
My dear hubby decided that he wanted to go into a completely different neighborhood to have some crawfish thing for lunch...and what did I see? Another shop (swanky part of town-ohh laa laa) that is called Village ARTisans.
I am not comfortable going outside of my comfort zone, and I've never done anything like this before, but I marched in with my cards and introduced myself to the owner. Long story short, I will be selling my cards there as soon as I can finish them! Wow. I wasn't at all sure of myself and when I saw the quality of the work in the store, I almost turned away.
See I told you, I'm learning something new everyday.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
